PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller that can be used in a network configuration using a network repeater and is able to synchronize clock time with another communication controller connected via a network without reducing an information amount transmitted and received by a system.SOLUTION: A communication controller comprises: a reception interval measuring unit 134 that is connected with a plurality of communication controllers via a network, gets time synchronized with the plurality of communication controllers using a time synchronization procedure by use of communication made up of at least a request packet and a response packet, and measures a reception interval of request packets from the plurality of communication controllers; and a queuing occurrence determination unit 135 that detects collision of a request packet from any communication controller among the plurality of communication controllers on the basis of the reception interval of the request packets measured by the reception interval measuring unit 134. According to the detection result by the queuing occurrence determination unit 135, the communication controller determines whether or not it transmits a response packet to the communication controller having transmitted the request packet. |
