PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine controller capable of appropriately detecting a short-circuit failure between two winding sets or between two inverter sections.SOLUTION: A control section 70 controls on-off operations of MOSs 21-26, 31-36 and a first inverter 20 and a second inverter 30 to control driving of a motor 10. The control section 70 functions as failure detection means and can detect a short-circuit failure between a first winding set 18 and a second winding set 19 or between the first inverter 20 and the second inverter 30 on the basis of a phase current value detected by current detection sections 41-46 when an upper MOS 21 of the first inverter 20 and a lower MOS 34 of the second inverter 30 are on-controlled before starting driving control of the motor 10. |
