The present invention relates to an apparatus for lengthening the life of a battery having cell units mounted therein, in which pulses are provided in a different fashion based on the state and capacity of a battery cell by unit of the battery cell so as to effectively correspond to batteries of various types including a large capacity type battery, thus improving the efficiency of lengthening the life of the battery. The apparatus is individually mounted to each unit cell consisting of a large capacity battery and independently operates regardless of the use of the battery that uses only the power of the relevant battery cell so as to provide pulses for preventing the generation of sulfate and removing pre-generated sulfate. Different pulses are provided based on the capacity and efficiency of the relevant cell, and the amplitude of the current of the pulse can be adjusted based on the charged state. Thus, the apparatus is added to a battery so as to lengthen the life of the battery in a continuous and efficient manner, thereby significantly lengthening the replacement cycle of the battery. |
