The container is fabricated from a flexible pliant material such as Neoprene and is sized to receive a single piece of mature fruit (8). A freezer pouch (3) is retained within the container by means of a friction fit. The Neoprene prevents the fruit being bruised and its inner surface absorbs moisture and, in particular, condensation created by the freezer pouch.
