A storage bag is disclosed including: a first wall having a top edge, a first side edge and a second side edge; and a second wall having a top edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. The first wall is joined to the second wall at the top edges and the first and second side edges and is also joined to the second wall via a bottom portion to provide a storage space between the first and second walls. The first or second wall has a side flap intermediate the top edge and bottom portion and an opening in the side flap to provide access to the storage space. The opening in the side flap is sealable by means of double sided adhesive tape extending around the opening in the side flap and adapted to seal the storage space when a first portion of the adhesive tape on one side of the opening is pressed against a second portion of the adhesive tape on the other side of the opening.
