PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator capable of reducing the contact resistance with a metal mesh, and to provide a fuel cell having the same.SOLUTION: A first separator 20 comprises: an alloy plate 410 containing Fe and Cr as main components; and a first coating film formed on the alloy plate 410 and containing CrOas a main component. In the case that a line where a crystal azimuth difference of 15 degrees or more is observed by an electron beam back scattering diffraction method is used as a grain boundary, CrOparticles contained in the first coating film are in such a columnar shape that an aspect ratio of an average long diameter to an average short diameter is 1.5 or more and 5.5 or less. |
