PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collagen/hydroxyapatite composite skeleton for use as a bone conduction implant, a tissue engineering implant, a maxillofacial graft ossicle substitute, a dental graft ossicle substitute, a cartilage deficiency recovery implant, or a chondro-osseous deficiency recovery implant.SOLUTION: The collagen/hydroxyapatite (HA) composite skeleton includes a uniform distribution of hydroxyapatite in a porous collagen matrix, having an HA to collagen ratio of 1:10 to 50:10(w/w), a porosity of at least 95%(v/v), and a compression rigidity of at least 0.4 KPa. |
