PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display substrate and a liquid crystal display panel including the substrate.SOLUTION: The display substrate includes a display area including a plurality of pixels and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. The display substrate includes a thin film transistor for driving each pixel, a gate line electrically connected to the thin film transistor, a data line crossing the gate line and electrically connected to the thin film transistor, a pixel electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor, and a common electrode having an opening overlapping the pixel electrode. The common electrode includes a first opening overlapping a first pixel and a second opening overlapping a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel, wherein the first opening and the second opening extend in different directions from each other, and the common electrode continuously overlaps the first pixel and the second pixel. |
