PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system that can keep power consumption of a mobile communication terminal low when the mobile communication terminal notifies a server providing service of sensor information measured by the mobile communication terminal.SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal 11 includes a sensor for measuring peripheral information, positional information, human body information, etc. A base station 12 allocates an uplink transmission band during an intermittent transmission and reception period in a sleep state and if it has received data only including the sensor information measured by the sensor from the mobile communication terminal 11 by use of the uplink transmission band, it handles the received data as control data. Because the base station 12 handles the data received from the mobile communication terminal 11 as control data, when the intermittent transmission and reception period expires, the mobile communication terminal 11 returns to the sleep state. |
