PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an air-fuel ratio when an engine is in intermittent start-up operation close to a theoretical air-fuel ratio.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle comprises an engine, a vehicle drive motor, and a controller for stopping and starting the engine corresponding to a vehicle request power. The controller includes an engine start request power threshold-changing means for changing a vehicle request power threshold to start the engine toward a direction so as to reduce the difference between an air-fuel ratio detected by an air fuel-ratio sensor when the engine stops and a theoretical air-fuel ratio if the difference exceeds a specified range. |
