<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a sheet feeding side and a sheet ejection side are not functionally replaceable in the conventional image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image formation unit 21 including a recording head 34 for forming an image on a sheet; a conveyance mechanism unit 22 capable of conveying the sheet toward a first conveyance direction A and a second conveyance direction B that is opposite to the first conveyance direction A while allowing the sheet to face the recording head 34; an upper port 4; and a lateral port 5, and when the sheet is fed from the upper port 4, forms the image with the image formation unit 21 including the recording head 34 while conveying the sheet in the first conveyance direction A and feeds the sheet to the lateral port 5, and when the sheet is fed from the lateral port 5, forms the image with the image formation unit 21 including the recording head 34 while conveying the sheet in the second conveyance direction B and feeds the sheet to the upper port 4.</p> |
