<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for defining a laser microdissection region and a laser microdissection system.SOLUTION: In a laser microdissection method for capturing first digital images 11, 12, 13, 21 and 22 depicting a portion 10 of a prepared specimen and capturing at least one second image 11, 12, or 13 depicting the same part 10 of the prepared specimen, live overlay images 21, 22, 23, and 34 of the same part 10 of the prepared specimen are generated in a live mode by superposition of the first digital images and the second digital images, and markings 310, 320, 330, and 340 are generated on the live overlay images to define a laser microdissection region, and the first digital images depict the part 10 of the prepared specimen by a first microscopic inspection method, and at least one second digital image depicts the same part 10 of the prepared specimen by at least one second microscopic inspection method.</p> |
