PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a cellulose acylate film which can increase durability of a polarizer, significantly reduce coloring due to light over time, and further increase durability of display performance of a liquid-crystal display; and a polarizing plate and a liquid-crystal display.SOLUTION: Provided are a cellulose acylate film containing cellulose acylate and a compound represented by the specified general formula (I), a polarizing plate and a liquid-crystal display. [In the general formula (I), one of Rand Rand one of R' and R'represent a hydroxy group; and L represents a divalent aliphatic group whose linking chain linking benzene rings at both ends has two or more carbon atoms.]
