<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions comprising a glycoprotein having an Fc (Fragment crystallizable) region.SOLUTION: About 80-100% of the glycoprotein in a composition comprises a mature core carbohydrate which lacks fucose, attached to the Fc region of the glycoprotein. The glycoprotein is preferably an antibody or immunoadhesin. The composition is used in treatment of cancer, an autoimmune disease, an inflammatory disorder, infection or other condition where removal of tissue or cells is desired.</p> |
