PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle including a grip which is downsized while securing sufficient strength.SOLUTION: In a motor cycle 100, a seat 114 is supported by a pair of left and right sub frames 2. A pair of side covers 200 covers at least parts of a pair of upper frame pipes 21 from the outer side. The pair of side covers 200 includes a pair of grip covers 220 and a pair of front covers 210. The pair of side covers 200 is fixed to the pair of upper frame pipes 21. The pair of front covers 210 is fixed to the pair of grip covers so as to extend forward from front end parts of the pair of grip covers 220. Each grip cover 220 has a protruding part disposed at the outer side relative to the seat 114 in a width W direction and a lower recessed part located on a lower surface of the protruding part.
