A method and device for interleaving processing in a WLAN system are provided in the present invention, which relates to the technical field of communications. The technical problem to be solved is: when the data number of data sub-carriers changes, interleave parameters are changed correspondently; therefore, interleaver hardware needs to be changed, thus causing the high cost. The method can specifically include: a WLAN device obtains, from any sub-interleaving processing included in the interleaving processing, a predetermined number of valid position identifiers; valid input positions of the interleaving processing are determined according to the valid position identifiers; data bits are transmitted in the valid input positions, and 0 and/or 1 bit or no data bit is transmitted in other non-valid input positions of the interleaving processing positions other than the valid input positions; data bits transmitted in interleaving processing output positions are modulated to obtain modulation signals and the modulation signals are respectively mapped to the corresponding data sub-carriers. The present invention can be used in the interleaving processing for data bits to be transmitted.
