<p>A liquid crystal display device (30) and a backlight module (20) thereof. The backlight module (20) comprises a substrate (21), a light guide plate (22), a first column (23), a light source (25, 26), a spacer (27) and an elastic element (28). The spacer (27) enables a minimum distance (D) between the light guide plate (22) and a light-emitting device (26) of the light source (25, 26); a first end of the elastic element (28) is connected to the end of the first column (23) passing through a slit in the substrate(21); a second end of the elastic element (28) is connected to the substrate (21); and the elastic element (28) enables the light guide plate (22) to move towards the light source (25, 26) by pushing the first column (23), until the distance between the light guide plate (22) and the light-emitting device (26) of the light source (25, 26) reaches the minimum distance (D). The liquid crystal display device (30) and the backlight module (20) thereof can reduce the probability of the occurrence of changes in the light coupling distance, thereby enabling the illumination brightness of the module to be more consistent with a design value.</p> |
