PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle which can continuously travel a long distance without needing stopping for charging.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle 1 includes: a motor 10 which rotationally drives wheels 3 to 6 through a power transmission mechanism; tires which are respectively attached to the wheels 3 to 6 and are made of a conductive material; and a power distribution system S which electrically connects the motor 10 with the tires. The motor 10 is driven by electric power supplied from a power supply plate disposed on a road surface through the tires. In the electric vehicle 1, the electric power is supplied from the power supply plate disposed on the road surface to the motor 10 through the tires and thereby rotates the motor 10. A rotation force of the motor 10 is transmitted to the wheels 3 to 6 through the power transmission mechanism and thereby drives the wheels 3 to 6 to allow the electric vehicle 1 to travel.
