PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor that is excited by ultraviolet rays and blue visible rays, and a light-emitting device including the phosphor.SOLUTION: The phosphor emits light having a peak wavelength between a green wavelength band and a yellow wavelength band, has a triclinic crystalline structure having a compositional formula expressed by MSiNO, where M=CaSrEu. When three sides of a unit crystal lattice of the crystalline structure are denoted by a, b and c and axial angles are denoted by α, &bgr; and γ, the crystalline structure has relationships of a≠b≠c and α≠&bgr;≠γ; and one in a, b and c has a value twice or more of one of the other two, and the other two have similar values in such a degree that they do not exceed the double of each. |
