<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling atmospheric pressure, which changes atmospheric pressure in a car so that a passenger is allowed to recognize the change in the atmospheric pressure before the pressure in the car changes to a large extent while an elevator ascends and descends, and so that a time for swallowing can be given to the passenger.SOLUTION: An elevator includes an apparatus for controlling atmospheric pressure in a car, which controls atmospheric pressure in the elevator car ascending and descending in a hoistway so that the atmospheric pressure is changed in a stepwise pattern in synchronization with the ascending and descending of the car by air intake and exhaust by a blower provided in the car. The elevator is provided with: the blower; an airflow volume switching device which communicates with the blower, the car, and outside air through flow passages, and stepwise switches an airflow volume flowing into and out of the car; an airflow volume adjusting device which communicates with the blower, the car, and the outside air through flow passages, and continuously changes the airflow volume flowing into and out of the car; and a control device which controls the blower, the airflow volume switching device, and the airflow volume adjusting device according to the operation information of the elevator.</p> |
