PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can utilize wiring of an existing support post and enables reinforcement works to be efficiently performed without requiring open wiring.SOLUTION: A reinforcement material 20, having an expansion section 21 which expands with pressure applied to an inside thereof, is inserted into an internal space of a support post of an electrical facility 11 so that the expansion section 21 is positioned in a reinforcement region 17 of the support post of the electrical facility 11. Then, the support post of the electrical facility 11 is reinforced by expanding the expansion section 21 with the pressure applied to the inside thereof until the same is pressed against and adheres to an inner surface of the support post of the electrical facility 11.
