The invention relates to a method for the treatment of breast milk, comprising at least two cycles, each cycle consisting in subjecting the medium to a maximum pressure of between 200 and 400MPa with a compression speed of between 0.5 and 8 MPa.s-1 and a decompression speed of between 0.5 and 100 MPa.s-1, the initial temperature of the medium being between 25°C et 50°C. The invention also relates to the use of the method, the resulting product and the use thereof in order to meet the nutritional and metabolic requirements of premature babies and nursing infants.
