PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of image quality when a plurality of drawing objects are overlapped with one another.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has a generation unit and a drawing unit. The generation unit generates a plurality of quantization patterns different from one another according to the number of raster images to be overlapped with one another. The drawing unit applies the quantization patterns different from one another every time substitute calculation is executed substituting raster operation calculations of the plurality of raster images, and overlaps the plurality of raster images to draw an image. With this configuration, the image processing apparatus suppresses deterioration of image quality.
