<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can flexibly deal with the change in the number of poles, the number of stages and the number of rows and the change of the coupling position of adjacent housings.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a plug connector 1 which can constitute a plug side multipolar connector 3 in which plug housings 10 with a substantially square cross section are coupled vertically and horizontally. The plug connector 1 includes: projection strip parts 28, 32 extended in an axial direction on first surfaces on one of an upper side and a lower side, and a right side and a left side of the plug housing 10; and recession strip parts 22, 35 on second surfaces on the other of the upper side and the lower side, and the right side and the left side of the plug housing 10 so that the projection strip parts 28, 32 can be slidingly coupled thereto in the axial direction. The adjacent plug housings 10 are so constituted that the projection strip parts 28, 32 and the recession strip parts 22, 35 are slidingly couped together to form the plug side multipolar connector 3 in an alignment state in which each plug housing 10 is aligned and a non-alignment state in which each plug housing 10 is deviated by a prescribed interval to the upper and lower sides or right and left sides from the alignment state.</p> |
