<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device configured to maintain mechanical strength even in a structure without a metal frame.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel including a TFT substrate where pixel electrodes, thin film transistors and others are fabricated and a counter substrate where a color filter and others are fabricated; a backlight comprising a light-emitting element and a light guide plate; and a frame that stores the liquid crystal display panel and the backlight. The frame is a resin mold frame; and the resin mold frame is partially provided with a reinforcing material having higher strength than a resin constituting the frame.</p> |
