<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water wheel device that can operate without prohibiting rotation of the water wheel under dust etc. in flowing water in view of a problem of dust etc. faced by a prior art water wheel type driving device.SOLUTION: An arrangement of a screen 7 at a peripheral part of a water wheel causes dust etc. flowing in a water passage together with water to be classified into fresh water and dust etc. The fresh water is fed into the water wheel, a linear kinetic energy of fresh water is changed into a rotary motion energy and can be utilized as a mechanical energy. Then, a dust removing water wheel device of this invention has a structure in which the dust etc. are discharged toward a downstream direction of the water wheel by the screen along with the rotation of the water wheel.</p> |
