PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly illumination device and the like in which a semiconductor light emitting element and a fluorescent filter can be changed in conjunction with each other.SOLUTION: An illumination device 3 includes: a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements 23 and 24 for illuminating a specimen 4 of a microscope 2; and an illumination control part 20 that controls the plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements 23 and 24. The illumination control part 20 acquires information on characteristics of a plurality of fluorescent filters 16 switchably provided in the microscope 2 from a microscope control part 15 of the microscope 2, and when the fluorescent filter 16 is changed, the illumination control part 20 changes the semiconductor light emitting elements 23 and 24 in accordance with the characteristics of the fluorescent filter 16, and when the semiconductor light emitting elements 23 and 24 are changed, the illumination control part 20 causes the microscope control part 15 to change the fluorescent filter 16 in accordance with the characteristics of the semiconductor light emitting elements 23 and 24, and thereby a combination of the semiconductor light emitting elements 23 and 24 and the fluorescent filter 16 is changed. |
