<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that fixes a reflecting plate with a simple configuration and ensures the rigidity of a nip plate.SOLUTION: A fixing device 100 for thermally fixing a developer image transferred to paper P includes: a cylindrical fixing film 110; a halogen lamp 120 disposed inside the fixing film 110; a nip plate 130 disposed to come into slide contact with the inner surface of the fixing film 110; a reflecting plate 140 for reflecting radiation heat from the halogen lamp 120 toward the nip plate 130; a pressure roller 150 for forming a nip between the fixing film 110 and the pressure roller itself by sandwiching the fixing film 110 between the nip plate 130 and the pressure roller itself; and a stay 160 for supporting both ends 131B of the nip plate 130 in the conveyance direction of the paper P. The reflecting plate 140 has a flange 142 extending along the conveyance direction of the paper P and is supported in such a state that the flange 142 is sandwiched between the nip plate 130 and the stay 160.</p> |
