<p>The present invention provides a safe connection ring for an operating cord of a roll screen or blind, the ring comprising male hangers (40 and 60) and female hangers (50 and 70) for connecting the operating cord of the roll screen or blind. The male hangers (40 and 60) one side of which has protrusions (41 and 61) and the other side of which has coupling parts of the operating cord. The female hangers (50 and 70) one side of which has insertion grooves (51 and 71) corresponding to the protrusions (41 and 61) of the male hangers and the other side of which has coupling parts of the operating cord. The protrusions (41 and 61) and the insertion grooves (51 and 71) are force-fitted to each other such that the protrusions (41 and 61) and the insertion grooves (51 and 71) may be separated from each other when a load of 5 to 10 kg or more is applied to either the protrusions (41 and 61) or the insertion grooves (51 and 71). According to the present invention, the safe connection rings which can be coupled together or separated from each other are arranged at both ends of the operating cord for operating the roll screen or blind in the vertical direction. Thus, when a predefined separation pressure, i.e. a force or load of 5 to 10 kg or more, is applied to the safe connection rings, the protrusions (41 and 61) and the insertion grooves (51 and 71) may be separated from each other, thereby preventing grave accidents even when a child carelessly or erroneously causes his/her neck to be caught in the operating cord. The safe connection ring for connecting the ends of the operating cord consists of a pair including a female hanger and male hanger such that the female hanger and the male hanger can be force-fitted to each other by means of the protrusions and insertion grooves, thus allowing for easy manufacture and installation.</p> |
