<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush roller for an image forming apparatus capable of ensuring strong adhesion between short fiber and a coating material to stably form images for a long period, a manufacturing method of the brush roller, and a developing device.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a brush roller for an image forming apparatus includes: a coating process of attaching a coating material to the surface of short fiber 11; a fusing process of heating the short fiber 11 attached with the coating material to fuse the coating material onto the short fiber 11; and an electrostatic bristle implantation process of implanting the short fiber 11 into a core material 10. The short fiber 11 and the coating material are reliably fused with each other in a heating temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature of the short fiber 11 and/or the coating material.</p> |
