The invention addresses the problem of providing a device for generating a movement, preferably a circular movement. Said device comprises at least one magnet, a material which is situated in the vicinity of or in the magnet, on which the magnet exerts an attractive force and in which the attractive force of the magnet is weakened by thermal action on at least one region of the material. Said material is preferably not superconducting during the thermal action and preferably has paramagnetic characteristics prior to the thermal action and diamagnetic characteristics after the thermal action. |
