<p>Provided is an acceleration detection device in which tabular outer substrates, which do not have recesses, can be used as outer substrates, enabling the acceleration device to have a low profile. In the acceleration detection device (1), a strip-like acceleration detection element (2) is sandwiched by first and second holding members (5, 6), forming a plate-like structure. In the plate-like structure, at least one surface among a third surface (2c) and a fourth surface (2d) of the acceleration detection element (2) is positioned further to the inside in the thickness direction linking the third surface (2c) and the fourth surface (2d) than first holding member surfaces (5b, 6b) and second holding member surfaces (5c, 6c) of the first and second holding members (5, 6).</p> |
