<p>A packer for creating a seal in an annular area is generally disclosed. In 5 particular, a packer cup 100 for use in sealing an annular area in a wellbore is disclosed. The packer cup 100 includes a base 105 and a first seal segment 160 having a first end and a second end. The first end of the first seal segment 160 is attached to the base 105. The packer cup 100 further includes a second seal segment 170 that is spaced apart from the base 105. The second seal segment 170 10 is attached to the second end of the first seal segment 160. Each seal segment is configured to move from a retracted shape to an expanded shape upon activation of the respective seal segment.
