PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission device of an automatic transmission for a vehicle using a dog clutch realizing efficient engagement, in a retrial control when a sleeve and a gear cannot be engaged with each other.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission device includes a rotating shaft 22, clutch rings 23, 24, a clutch hub 25, a sleeve 26, dog clutch portions 23a, 24a, an axial moving device 27, a stroke sensor 29, first and second rotational frequency sensors 31, 32, and a control portion 33. The sleeve 26 has a plurality of low teeth 26b1 and high teeth 26a1, the dog clutch portion 23a has clutch front teeth 23b1, clutch rear teeth 23c1, and clutch tooth grooves 23d1, 23e1 formed between the clutch front teeth and the clutch rear teeth adjacent to each other, and capable of being engaged with the sleeve 26, and the control portion 33 includes an engagement starting portion 33f, a retrial control portion 33d, a retrial control shift determining portion 33b, and a retrial control condition operating portion 33c. |
