REFRACTORY CEMENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory cement composition having superior heat resistance.SOLUTION: The refractory cement composition includes cement and an emulsion and has a compression strength of 80 N/mmor more in a hardened state. The emulsion is an emulsion for cement admixture or an asphalt emulsion. The refractory cement composition does not explode and maintains a compression strength of 10 N/mmor more even in the case when the temperature thereof is raised to 840°C in 30 min from normal temperature (20°C) and then lowered to normal temperature. The refractory cement composition preferably contains metal fibers and organic fibers.
