PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject information acquisition device that is capable of reducing image deterioration due to an influence of a reflected wave even if the reflected wave is detected.SOLUTION: A subject information acquisition device to be used comprises: a probe for converting an acoustic wave to be generated from a subject exposed to light into a detection signal; and a signal processing part for generating information on the inside of the subject from the detection signal. The signal processing part: extracts an extraction signal from the detection signal on the basis of a signal extraction condition that is a condition relating to a waveform; generates a reference signal from the extraction signal; calculates a correlation between the detection signal and the reference signal; detects a phase inversion signal of which a phase is inverse to that of the reference signal in the detection signal; suppresses intensity of the phase inversion signal to generate an after-suppression signal from the detection signal; and uses the after-suppression signal to generate the information on the inside of the subject. |
