PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that appropriate back tension cannot be applied depending on how to rewind when a roll-like printing medium having an adhesive surface is rewound.SOLUTION: Between a conveying roller driven to rotate by a drive motor and a spool 5 into which a roll body is fitted, driving force transmission means is provided. In the driving force transmission means, a first transmission path 231 is configured which leads to a gear 217 of the spool 5 from a gear 211 of a clutch through gears 212, 214, and 216 by switching gears 213 and 212 so that the gear 212 engages with the gear 214, and a second transmission path 232 is configured which leads to the gear 217 of the spool 5 from the gear 211 of the clutch through gears 213, 215, 214, and 216 by switching the gears 212 and 213 so that the gear 213 engages with the gear 215. |
