PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing system, an image processing method, and a program which are capable of allowing a taken image to reflect a request for privacy protection from an imaging target person.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: an imaging target person position acquisition unit for acquiring positional information on an imaging target person corresponding to a person image included in a taken image; a transmission unit which transmits the positional information on the imaging target person to an information processing apparatus for comparing positional information on a communication terminal transmitted from the communication terminal with the positional information on the imaging target person; and a determination unit which determines whether to perform protection processing of the person image, on the basis of information corresponding to a result of the comparison received from the information processing apparatus. |
