<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element which suppresses occurrence of particles.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 40 includes: a piezoelectric material 43 having a pair of principal faces (upper face 43a and lower face 43b) which face each other and sides 43c, 43d, 43e and 43f extending to couple a pair of principal faces; a resin 44 which covers the sides of the piezoelectric material 43 and has a principal face existing on the same plane as the principal face of the piezoelectric material 43; and electrodes 42A and 42B which integrally cover the principal face of the piezoelectric body 43 and the principal face of the resin 44. Since the principal face of the resin 44 is a face roughened to Ra0.02 to 0.3μm, a surface area of the principal face is enlarged and adhesive property of the resin 44 and the electrode 42A is improved. Thus, a situation where particles caused in the piezoelectric material 43 are discharged to an outside of the element from between the resin 44 and the electrodes 42A and 42B is suppressed, and occurrence of the particles is suppressed.</p> |
