<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostat device which has high responsiveness to change of a cooling liquid temperature, and in which flowing resistance of a cooling liquid in a cooling liquid passage is small.SOLUTION: A part of a piston 20 is inserted into a cylinder structure 19 of a temperature sensitive movable portion 14, movement of the piston 20 in the axial direction of the cylinder structure 19 is controlled and a thermal expansion body is sealed in the cylinder structure 19 of the temperature sensitive movable portion 14. On the other hand, supporting portions 21 are integrally formed on the temperature sensitive movable portion 14 in a state of projecting outward from the temperature sensitive movable portion 14. The supporting portions 21 are supported by an inner wall portion 13 of a cooling liquid passage 8 at outer end portions, and accommodate the thermal expansion body inside of a space 27 continued to the cylinder structure 19 of the temperature sensitive movable portion 14. Further outer end portions of two supporting portions 21 are connected, an outer ring 24 is formed integrally with the supporting portions 21 along the inner wall portion 13 of the cooling liquid passage 8, and the outer ring 24 is pressed in the direction to be pressed to a valve seat 17 by a coil spring 25.</p> |
