<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method capable of enhancing the airtightness and watertightness of a joint part.SOLUTION: A joining method includes a tab material arranging stage of arranging tab materials 2, 3 on both sides of an abutment part J1, a first primary joining stage of carrying out frictional agitation from a top surface side, and a second primary joining stage of performing frictional agitation from a reverse surface side. In the primary joining stage, a start position for the frictional agitation is provided on the top surface side of one tab material 3, the frictional agitation is carried out for the abutment part J1 from a top surface side of a metal member, and an end position for the frictional agitation is provided on a top surface side of the other tab material 2. In the second primary joining stage, frictional agitation is carried out for the abutment part J1 from a reverse surface side of the metal member, frictional agitation is carried out while an agitation pin B2 of a rotary tool B for frictional agitation is putting in a plasticized region formed in the first primary joining stage, and a route of the frictional agitation in the second primary joining stage is set avoiding a bored hole Q1 left in the first primary joining stage.</p> |
