<p>This lens element includes: a center part (28) that condenses light radiated from a point light source by refraction; and a surrounding part (29) that surrounds the center part (28) so as to be adjacent thereto, and condenses the light from the point light source by reflection. The center part (28) includes: an incidence side convex surface (28a) on which the light from the point light source is incident, the incidence side convex surface having a curved surface shape that is convex toward outside in the optical axis direction; and an emission side convex surface (28b) that allows light from the incidence side convex surface (28a) to go out, the emission side convex surface having a curved surface shape that is convex toward outside in the optical axis direction. The surrounding part (29) includes an incidence side end surface (29a) on which the light from the point light source is incident; an outer circumference surface (29b) that reflects light from the incidence side end surface (29a) internally; and an emission side end surface (29c) that allows light that has been internally reflected by the outer circumference surface (29b) to go out. Along a boundary between the incidence side convex surface (28a) in the center part (28) and the incidence side end surface (29a) in the surrounding part (29), a concave boundary part is formed.</p> |
