A cooling circuit (50) in a humidity control device (10) is provided with two adsorption heat exchangers (51, 52). The cooling circuit (50) is capable of reversing the direction in which coolant circulates. In addition, a switching mechanism (40) in the humidity control device (10) switches between a channel for outside air to be supplied to the interior of a room, and a channel for inside air to be discharged to the exterior of the room. In a first operation of the humidity control device (10), the coolant circulation direction and the air channel both switch each time a prescribed interval elapses. In a second operation of the humidity control device (10), the cooling circuit (50) is stopped, and the air channel switches each time a prescribed interval elapses. During the second operation, the comfortability of the interior of the room is ensured, even when the cooling circuit (50) is stopped, by supplying the interior of the room with outside air that has been termperature- and humidity-controlled. |
