<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus capable of efficiently generating a differential sound component by a transmission signal of a square wave.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 2 outputs a transmission ultrasonic wave toward a subject by receiving input of a pulse signal and outputs an input signal by receiving a reflection ultrasonic wave from the subject. A transmission part outputs a pulse signal of a square wave to be input to the ultrasonic probe 2. The transmission part outputs a pulse signal of a square wave whose duty ratio is set to contain a first frequency component and a second frequency component having a higher frequency than the first frequency component. The ultrasonic probe 2 sets a frequency band so that an intensity ratio of the first frequency component to the second frequency component of the transmission ultrasonic wave output by inputting the pulse signal output from the transmission part approaches 1:1 more than the intensity ratio of the first frequency component to the second frequency component, of the pulse signal.</p> |
