<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size portable terminal apparatus capable of easily inputting desired characters.SOLUTION: A selection target character generation means 1 generates selection target characters, a display means 2 displays the same, and a selection position generation means 4 selects a character or symbol. A contact point detection means 3 detects positional information at a point touched by a pen or a human finger. When the contact point detection means 3 detects a touch on a key region 20, a key input control means 18 outputs a piece of information of unique character or symbol corresponding to the key region 20. When the contact point detection means 3 detects a movement to another region while touching on the key region 20, the selection position generation means 4 selects one of the characters or symbols.</p> |
