PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that electric power required for driving a relay differs according to temperature and operation state of the relay.SOLUTION: The power storage system has: a power storage device including a plurality of power storage elements connected in series; a relay which is switched between the ON state in which the power storage device and a load are connected according to energization of a coil and the OFF state in which connection between the power storage element and the load is cut off according to non-energization of the coil; at least one power storage element; a plurality of power supply lines in which each of a plurality of power storage blocks in which the number of the power storage elements connected in series are different with each other and coils are connected; a switch arranged in each power supply line; and a controller which controls driving of the relay. The controller selects the power storage block which supplies electric power to the coil from among the plurality of power storage blocks by switching the ON and OFF states of the switch. |
