<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that has a configuration capable of suppressing an increase in stress to a developer to ensure a conveyance amount (circulation amount) without causing an increase in size of the device, when configured to have conveyance screws arranged side by side in a longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: first and second conveyance spaces 30A and 30B that are provided adjacent up and down in a gravity direction and have developer stirring and conveying members 32 and 33 arranged inside respectively; and a communication unit 36 that are provided to a partition part partitioning the first and second conveyance spaces 30A and 30B to be a delivery part of a developer. The communication unit 36 has a transfer-conveying member 37 that conveys the developer upwardly separate from the developer stirring and conveying members 32 provided inside thereof; and the transfer conveying member has transfer-conveyance performance corresponding to the amount of the developer that can be conveyed per unit time toward the developer stirring and conveying members through the communication unit, higher than stirring-conveyance performance corresponding to the amount of the developer that can be conveyed per unit time in the conveyance direction by the developer stirring and conveying members.</p> |
