The present invention provides a production method for a laminated iron core in which segment iron core pieces are laminated in a circular manner outside of a die used to produce said segment iron core pieces so that a reduction in device size is achieved and it is possible to improve pressing speed. The production method for a multilayer iron core comprises: a first step in which a segment iron core piece (14) having an arc angle achieved by dividing a circumferential angle of 360° into m sections is separated from a belt-shaped iron core material (13) and mounted on a mounting table (42), the segment iron core piece (14) is conveyed to the laminating position of a rotating laminating mechanism (35) using a pusher (49), and the rotating laminating mechanism (35) including the conveyed segment iron core piece (14) is rotated by 360°/m; and a second step in which the first step is repeated to form a joined annular iron core piece (12) in which the segment iron core pieces (14) are arranged in an annular shape. The second step is repeated to produce a swaged and laminated iron core (10) of a predetermined thickness. At the second step, the segment iron core pieces (14) are swaged and laminated within the rotating stacking mechanism (35). |
