An optical/electric composite microcable for connection and conduction among electronic components, comprising an outer sheath (5). An optical/electric hybrid cable core is arranged in the outer sheath, and the optical/electric hybrid cable core is formed by stranding an insulated conductor (2) and an optical fibre unit (1) and coating same with a wound layer (3). The optical/electric hybrid cable core is coated with a braided layer (4) on the outside.The micro optical/electric composite cable is simple in structure, small in volume, light in weight, superior in mechanical and bending properties, convenient to use, suitable for narrow spaces in computer hardware and components, and can increase the rate of data exchange among electronic components.
