The present technology pertains to an information processing device, an information processing method and a program, and an information processing system, which are capable of efficiently storing content temporarily when playing back by using a playlist. A calculation unit calculates a priority order pertaining to a cache for temporarily storing content, for each unit of content, on the basis of a playlist for displaying the content to be played back among a plurality of content units. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an information processing system or the like which streams content in accordance with the MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group phase) -DASH standard. |
